The Soul Affair Collection brings together four volumes exploring the golden era of soul, R&B, Fusion & Library Music spanning the late 60's through early 80's. This collection features 40 compositions with live recorded Horns, Strings, Flutes, Lead Vocal Phrases, BGVs, Synths, Rhodes, Guitars and tons more packed inside. Multiple sections within each composition offer various vocal parts and instrumentation, giving producers the flexibility to loop a section that grabs their attention or make multiple chops and fully rearrange it.
Recorded fully analog through our vintage Electrodyne consoles along with tons of other vintage equipment from that era—including tape machines, ribbon & tube mics, guitar pedals, EMT-140 Plate Reverb, and outboard gear—plus live vocals and instrumentation that truly capture the feel and texture of what you would hear on a recording from that time period. We are truly operating out of an early 1970s studio.
