Producer Use Guidelines
Thanks for picking up The Many Moods of Marco Polo (Vol. 1). This project is meant to be sampled, flipped, and turned into music — but there are a few important things to know so everything stays clean and stress-free.
Independent Releases (Most Users)
If you’re an independent artist or producer releasing music on DSPs such as Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, or SoundCloud:
• You must contact us before releasing any song using these samples
• Publishing splits and registration will be handled together
• The process is straightforward and artist-friendly

Major Label / Major Independent Placements
If your song is released through a major label (UMG, Sony, Warner) or a top-tier independent label or distributor (BMG, Concord, Beggars Group, Roc Nation):
• A publishing percentage will be assigned to Marco Bruno (SESAC)/Spaghetti Bender Music LLC (ASCAP) to be determined within the context of the New Composition.
• An upfront master fee and/or percentage of the master may be required (to be determined within the context of the New Recording).
• Proper credits will be required (for example, Samples “Title” by Marco Bruno, written by Marco Bruno (SOCAN) and published by Spaghetti Bender Music (ASCAP)).

Important Notice
Releasing music using these samples without contacting us first may result in copyright issues or takedown notices from DSPs. Please make sure to reach out before release to avoid any complications.
